I couldn't wait for Ella to be big enough to start wearing nightgowns. I always wore them when I was a little girl. I spotted this on the clearance rack at Target and had to get it. It's our favorite. Tanner puts her in it every night cause he loves it so much. Love those teeth!
This was at Kite Day this year. Unfortunately it was in the upper 80s and there was pretty much no wind. Most of the kids were running to get their kites in the air, but then of course there were those die-hard kite-flying adults with home-improved kites who were also running full speed to get their kites to fly. (The same adults playing in the splash pad with all the little kids.) They're so cool.
This was on Easter Sunday. My parents came down to visit so we had 3 total Easter egg hunts--Nana and Papa's, the Easter Bunny's, and the scripture egg hunt. Alex is getting smarter in his old age and dubbed Nana and Papa's the favorite because he got money. Guess he's starting to get what's important in life. He's been carrying around that $4 since they left.
Look familiar? Nope, I didn't post the same picture twice, and I didn't post a picture of Ella in her nightgown in the future. This is Alex wearing Ella's nightgown (which he wears pretty much whenever she isn't). He's started to demand we call him either Princess or Ella when he wears it and he spins around singing, "I'm a princess!" Tanner came home from work the first time and tried to get him to put on his Transformers costume with no luck. Guess he's got the figure for it.

Your kids are so cute! I agree, Connor and Alex would be best buds, lol! That last picture is DANG funny, especially wanting to be called princess or ella! We need to get together this summer and let our kids play :)
I wish I could have seen the adults playing in the splash pad! Dang!
